What the coordination work supports
The following explains the purpose of the coordination activities and how their outputs can be checked; it does not report measured project performance.
Architectural model in Revit
Architectural model development aims to provide a reference for reviewing elements and their relationship to other disciplines. Output consistency can be checked by comparing the reference model revision with the architectural drawings and associated comments.
Structural and MEP interfaces and openings
Model coordination and opening and clash reviews aim to clarify discipline interfaces before construction. Verification requires checking opening locations against the reference models and linking each comment to its location and review status.
Drawing review and decision traceability
Shop-drawing review and clash follow-up aim to connect technical comments to the required revisions. Verification can compare drawing and model revisions with the review decision; a revision alone does not demonstrate approval or closure.
